The Mutiny Hotel in Coconut Grove, Florida, featured 130 individually designed rooms. The project spanned three years with an estimated room cost of $6,000 - all inclusive of Roman tubs in each room. The 4th Dimension Room Diamond patterns of smoked mirror and purple patent leather accentuate the room. Gypsy Caravan Room Walnut church pews enclose an elevated seating area. Arabian Nights Room Curtains drop from the hanging canopy over the bed. Nautical Dreams Room Historical ship plans are used as wall covering. The Marrakech Room Colored tile and glass mosaic designs are embedded in the walls and lit from behind. The Coconut Grove Room A panoramic view of Sailboat Bay is the highlight of this space. Zirka Room Ceiling and side tables were made from carved Styrofoam and covered with sand. Peruvian Dream Room Hand worked brass detail and woven rugs adorn this room. Moroccan Fantasy Room The metallic sheen of copper paint and rich fabric gleam in the subtle light of this room. Shibui Room A spa tub surrounded by lit screens suggests the look of a Japanese inn.
