Kitchen In accord with the existing low beams in the family room space, we positioned light colored, sustainable bamboo cabinets, trimmed at the top with dark wood to complement the original wood. Leaving a space at the top of the cabinets and using a darker color above them, gives the illusion of them floating and makes the ceiling appear higher than it is.
Bar I encourage my clients to use handmade applications that enhance the uniqueness of their space. Notice the collage of recycled handmade papers on the face of the granite bar. The wrinkled patches of multi- green textures, take on the quality of leaves, in a tree-house setting.
Counter detail The opal blue-green glass tile and the natural smooth river stones on the backsplash walls, allude to the feeling of a natural riverbed with water over rocks. The dark green granite glistens from the opal tile reflections.
