A Teenager's Room This environmentally friendly room is intended to look as though the fictitious occupant might have created it. The "L" frame bed structure, fused glass panels (old Muni bus shelters) floorboards and staircase beams are all salvaged material. Lime paint is used on the walls. Closet Space The closet doors in the room were removed and beads backlit with magenta-filtered fluorescent lights, contrasting the subtle greens in the room. The curtain panels were made with large hand-applied red stitches and their edges were frayed. Detachable sculpture moves on casters at the base of wall. The Bathroom Walls in the bathroom are made of torn grocery bags and magazines (color). Towels are monogrammed with earth- friendly reminders. Some of the 1" tiles on the backsplash were replaced with seashells before grouting SITE PLAN.
